Together with Connected, @Xit is supporting Rijkswaterstaat's "Van A naar Beter" campaign by implementing camera monitoring on major traffic arteries in Rotterdam that will allow for traffic flow analysis and providing tailor-made travel information to road users. Previously, we have created an internal web application for Rijkswaterstaat, that allows for gathering of statistics and performance metering of various systems that Rijkswaterstaat has deployed throughout the Netherlands. For Stedelijk Museum de Lakenhal we are implementing a camera system for the art project 'Podium Jan Wolkers', which will allow for ad-hoc performances to be recorded and sent to the museum over the internet for integral playback of the recorded performances. Gemeente Nijmegen made use of our Mobile Autonomous Camera Systems in a tunnelsystem. This tunnel system did not allow for a more permanent means of camera surveillance. The MACS was adapted specifically for the terrain (height) and network connectivity (fibre optics). For ProRail we have done several projects. For the region Randstad Zuid we have implemented a hybrid IP camera surveillance system consisting of 10 cameras in both MACS and SACS formats and have implemented a PA system which allows for directly communicating with trespassers and vandals. For region Zuid we have implemented a large number of MACS systems that safeguard railroad crossings for vandalism and trespassing. For Infraspeed we have implemented MACS systems to safeguard the tunnel entries at various locations along the High Speed Trainline from Amsterdam to Paris. @Xit is always looking for challenging problems to which it can provide high tech solutions. If you have a proposition for us, please do not hesitate to contact us. @Xit VOF |
